Dear Bassett High School Families,

My name is Katie Elliott, and I am honored to serve as an Assistant Principal at BHS. As the 9th Grade Administrator, I work closely with our freshmen and their families to help ensure a successful transition into high school. I also oversee our English, English Learner, and Special Education departments.  I also oversee our English and Special Education departments.

As a proud graduate of Henry County Public Schools (full disclosure: I'm a Magna Vista graduate—but don't worry, the Bengals have won me over!) and a former teacher at G.W. Carver Elementary School, it is especially meaningful to return and serve the community that helped shape my own educational journey. I am excited to be part of the Bassett High School family and to support our students as they learn, grow, and prepare for their futures.
