At BHS, education is viewed as an attainable goal, but a never-ending process. We provide students with an opportunity to cultivate acquired knowledge through direct instruction and counseling. We strive to make sure that all students acquire attitudes, knowledge, and skills that contribute to effective learning in school and the community. It is our goal that students will graduate with the academic preparation essential to choose from a wide range of post-secondary options.

It is our expectation that upon graduation students will:

acquire career awareness and employment readiness skills.

acquire the skills to investigate the world of work in relation to knowledge of self and to make informed career decisions.

employ strategies to achieve future career success and satisfaction.

acquire the attitudes, knowledge, and interpersonal skills to help them become productive citizens in society.

make decisions, set goals, and take necessary action to achieve goals.
